Renewable, alternative, and efficient energy in the home is a smart and responsible way to live, not only within the walls of your own home, but also in your community and on your planet.

The City of Kingston and the province of Ontario are very exciting places to be right now in the world of renewable energy.  The Ontario Power Authority's Feed-in Tariff program is going to allow our province to take high-polluting coal power plants out of commission and replace that electricity with solar, wind, and other sustainable energy sources.

I have been very fortunate over the past few months to be highly involved with the OPA's FIT and micro-FIT programs, representing three different corporations who are all approaching this challenge from different angles.  Solar Cents LLP, based out of Minnesota, is currently acquiring land to construct several different solar farms of up to 50 MW total.  Kingston-based PVPowerCorp and its sister company OntarioPVPower are installing dozens of 2.5 - 10 KW microfit systems all over Eastern Ontario.  Aepay Global Energy are looking to install several 250 KW rooftop systems over the next year, also in the Eastern Ontario region.

The FIT program offers many opportunities to Ontario property owners to get involved at this exciting time.  You can lease your home or business rooftop, you can buy your own system, or you can lease or sell your land!  Contact me for more information and a free consultation.

There are plenty of other options available to you: geothermal, solar hot water heating, off-the-grid living, bio-fuels, and many more.  I have the network and knowledge to get you the information you need, and to help you find a property that suits your goals. Feel free to call or email at any time for a no-obligation conversation about the options available to you.
